NY-China Legal Service Center-Hiring Full Time Lawyer

Job Requirements:
1，J.D. graduate from an accredited law school and have passed bar exam; newly admitted lawyers welcome to submit resume
2，Have experience in a specific field of law, and capable of independently handling cases or non-litigation projects in that field; specialized focus on immigration law is advantageous
3，Experience drafting legal documents, such as motions, petitions, briefs, and affidavits
4，Works with the philosophy of the law firm and adapts to our innovative development model
5，Have no record of misconduct in practice and have not been subjected to penalities by judicial administrative authorities
The New York Chinese Legal Service Center provides various services for Chinese residents in the U.S. including:
1、Efficient handling of marriage green card applications, family sponsorships, and various immigration cases
2、Reentry permits, application for citizenship, green card, work permit applications, and extensions
3、Passport applications and renewals for both China and the U.S., embassy-authorized notarization and authentication
4、Obtaining a Taxpayer identification number for individuals without legal status, personal and corporate tax filings, handling various tax bureau correspondences.
5、Applying for government housing, elderly apartments, food stamps, cash subsidies, and various welfare benefits.
6、Processing retirement pensions, red and blue cards, bank cards, medicare cards, medicaid cards, senior citizen half-price subway cards, etc.
7、Student visa applications, F-1 visas, from application to obtaining an I-20 and then scheduling a visa appointment.
