looking for a Sr/Jr. UI/UX Designer

Position: Sr/Jr. UI/UX Designer
Location: New York Area (can work at home but need to attend meeting sometimes)
Status: Part-time
Starts: Within a Week

Job Description:
We are a start-up high-tech company based on New York. Due to the fast growth recently, we are seeking a UI/UX designer for a part time direct hire position which will ideally start in the coming weeks.

In this role, you will help our client simple and distinctive user-centered design which will touch millions of users.

The ideal UI/UX designer will be/have:
-BS/MS in Graphic and/or Interaction Design, or related field
- 5+ years of UI design or UX design experience, either way you will need a strong traditional design background with a portfolio that boasts clean, simple and modern design aesthetic
- direct experience with consumer facing laptop, mobile, etc., products
- experience designing for mobile / tablet / etc.
- experience designing complex interfaces that shape the future of business.
-Proficiency in a diverse set of software including the Adobe suite (Photoshop,
Illustrator),
-Knowing of CSS/ HTML is a plus.

This is a part-time direct hire opportunity working with the smartest people at this city. :-)
