world foods NY, a Leading Seafood Wholesaler has immediate openings for full
time Entry Level Outside Sales Associates to service restaurants in Tri-state
area. Prior sales experience is not required. Offer H1B Visa sponsorship.
Essential Job Functions:
• Regularly interacts with
customers to provide information about product availability, quality, and
prices.
•
Regularly interacts with purchasing, delivery, production, night order and
customer service personnel in order to exchange information about customer’s
needs and problems and receive relevant information from these personnel.
•
Monitors customer payments and ensures that customers’ payments and credit are
in good standing.
•
Offers new products and services to customers as they become available.
•
Prospects for new customers and guides new customers through the credit
application process.
•
Attends department and cross-function meetings to address sales and service
issues.
•
Daily visits customers.
•
Participates sales promotion exhibitions.
•
Perform emergency delivery to customer when there is no any other source
available.
•
Performs daily HACCP & sanitation related tasks as required.
•
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualification:
• College diploma preferred or
equivalent knowledge and experience.
•
Valid driver license with good record.
•
Must be fluent in English reading & verbal communication, bilingual in
Korean, Chinese or Japanese is a plus.
•
With knowledge or interest in food or seafood is a plus.
• Be
able to work under pressure and with minimum supervision.
